Connect Dexter to Apps

Follow the guides below to connect your Dexter Agent to other apps.

Dexter MCP

Any MCP server

Use this endpoint inside any MCP-compatible client (ChatGPT Apps, Claude Connectors, or your own agent tooling).

Whenever an MCP client asks for a server URL, paste this endpoint.

First-time setup should be done using a desktop browser. First, sign in to your Dexter account here on dexter.cash. Once logged in, open a new ChatGPT or Claude tab and follow the platform-specific instructions below.

ChatGPT App

  1. Open ChatGPT in a desktop browser while signed into your Dexter account.
  2. Head to Settings → Apps & Connectors, click Create (top-right), and fill in:
    • Name: Dexter
    • Description: optional
    • MCP Server URL: https://dexter.cash/mcp
    • Authentication: Dexter login popup
    • Icon: optional
  3. Approve the Dexter sign-in popup—your wallet and authorisation sync automatically after the prompt.
  4. Back in Apps & Connectors, scroll to Advanced options and toggle Developer Mode on so the connector stays active.

If ChatGPT ever says the connector needs attention, revisit Apps & Connectors and hit “Connect” again—your settings stay intact.

ChatGPT Apps require a Plus or Pro plan ($20 or $200).

Anthropic Surface

Claude Connector

  1. Open Claude in a desktop browser while signed into your Dexter account.
  2. Go to Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector. Use:
    • Name: Dexter
    • Remote MCP server URL: https://dexter.cash/mcp
    Leave the advanced options alone—defaults are perfect.
  3. Approve the Dexter sign-in popup, wait for Claude to show “Connected,” then close any setup tabs—you’re ready to use it.

If Claude becomes disconnected from Dexter (usually after major upgrades), re-open Settings → Connectors and press “Connect” on Dexter to refresh it.

Claude Connectors require a Pro or Max plan ($20 or $100).

Alexa Skill

Link Your Alexa Account

Link Dexter to Alexa for hands-free status checks.

  1. Open the Alexa app (iOS/Android) or alexa.amazon.com and search for the Dexter AI skill that matches your workspace.
  2. Tap Enable Skill, choose Link Account, and finish the dexter.cash login with the same email you use here.
  3. After the success toast, ask “Alexa, open Dexter” to confirm the session; Alexa will read back your facilitator stats once connected.

Telegram Relay

Link your Telegram account

Pair the Dexter Relay bot so alerts and slash commands inherit your workspace context.

  1. Open Telegram (desktop or mobile), launch the Dexter Relay bot, and run /link while signed into Dexter in your browser.
  2. The bot replies with a one-time code plus a link like dexter.cash/link/telegram?code=XXXX. Tap it—or paste it into a Dexter session tab.
  3. The link portal verifies the code. Click Connect to finish pairing. Run /unlink anytime to rotate devices.
